Message from our President
I wanted to remind all members of the work being done by Kevin D and his team on the strategic direction of the club. This is a very important project for our club as I’m sure we can all agree that we can’t just stay as we are in a rapidly changing world and expect to prosper, or indeed survive into the long term.
I would encourage you to read the reports from the workshops held so far and consider joining in future ones and have your say.
We have a meeting coming up soon that will be dedicated to members hearing exactly where we are at and then being able to ask questions or share opinions.
Please make sure you’re up to speed with where things are at so we can have a very productive session.
Also, have a look at the article below on subscribing to our Events Calendar. Have all events update directly to your phone.
I have added another Album of pics from the Market into the website - here.

Our club are proud supporters of St. Kilda Mums. Their values of Respect for each other, for the earth and for every individual align well with those of our rotary club.
We donate financially each year to support their work.
The Covid 19 lockdown in 2020 meant that to be active and maintain our club’s service projects we had to reinvent the way we worked.

Quentin Wodon, an economist at the World Bank, joined Rotary to share his expertise, to network, and to help others. He has remained a member because he enjoys it. “I have been a Rotarian for 10 years,” says Wodon. “My father was a Rotarian, and I was a Rotaractor in Belgium. I also did Rotary Youth Exchange, so I’ve known Rotary for a long time.”

Just a reminder to members, the above information regarding birthdays and anniversaries comes directly from each members information contained in the Club Runner (Rotary) database. As I have said before, it is up to each member to check, add or change information in their own profile. As editor, I do not enter this information into this bulletin. It is passed directly from the database.
