Message from our President
“Serve to Change Lives”
CULTURE:
Culture is the beliefs, behaviours, objects and other characteristics shared by groups of people.
Culture provides social and economic values.
It can enhance our quality of life and increase overall wellbeing for individuals and communities.
There are elements to the culture of our club and these include all the “C” words
Core Values
Camaraderie
Celebrations
Community
Caring
Commitment
Consistency
Along with these elements is LANGUAGE, which is the most important part of any culture.
It is the way by which people communicate with each other and build relationships to create a sense of community.
As we emerge from covid and reset our club and activities my word for this year is
“HOPE”.
I am very happy to let you all know that Cilantro is back in business and as such our breakfast meetings will recommence at our favourite venue starting from this Wednesday onwards.
Please be aware though that with members agreement we are trialling having an evening meeting on the 4th Wednesday of each month, so please keep a check on the calendar, and meeting times etc. which are always found on our website.
With every best wish,
President Helen Nodrum
Our guest speaker this week is Tania Hutchinson from Stride Education.
Tania will report back to the club on the Applied Learning Awards conducted end of last year that our club is the Primary sponsor. Some great student stories and pictures to be shared.
This week we are back at Cilantro this week, 7am for 7.10am Details here
Our Rotary club is a proud supporter of the Caulfield South Community House Community Garden, which is located at 450-452 Kooyong Rd, South Caulfield – enter the garden area off Jupiter St. Open days are held there each second Sunday of the month.

President Helen welcomed Leonie Ryan and thanked Sue for hosting the meeting. Helen then updated members on matters relating to the club and the board meeting held on 8 February.
